Reethi beach is a resort in Maldives, full of natural beauty as you can see in the picture.Full of trees, white sand and crystal blue waters. One should visit the capital city of Maldives, Male', apart from any resort, which is the most popular city in Maldives, but one of the smallest capitals in the world! Male' offers visitors a wide variety of leisure activities, whether it is sight-seeing, relaxing or shopping. There are many souvenir shops, many of which are in the northern end of Chaandanee Magu. People in Maldives in general are very friendly and will gladly help tourists.

Maldivians are almost entirely Sunni Muslim, the local culture is a mixture of South Indian, Sinhalese and Arab infuences.Alcholo, pork, dogs(!) and public observance od non-Muslim religions are banned on the inhabited islands unlike resort islands.Note that importing alcohol, pork or pornography (very broadly defined) into the Maldives is forbidden and all luggage is X-rayed on arrival. Exporting sand, seashells or coral is also forbidden.
Maldivian food is all about fish(mas), in particular tuna(kandu mas), and draws heavily from the Sri Lankan and south Indian tradition, especially Kerala. A traditional meal consists of rice,a clear fish broth called garudhiya and side dishes of lime, chili and onions. Other known dishes are mas huni (shredded smoked fish with grated coconuts and onions, one of the most common Maldivian breakfast), fihunu mas (barbequed fish with chili) and bambukeylu hiti (breadfruit curry).
